what a GREAT night! San Francisco represent! THANK YOU SO MUCH for coming out and supporting Bil. it was really great to see so many of you last night–the entire Breakthru crew, Dov, Kraddy, Hypnotech, Miranda and everyone else. Big ups to Subscience for bringing him out & for a kick-ass line-up. everyone played slammin’ sets. Bil tore the place to shreds. So much so, that about an hour into his set, the ceiling in the DJ booth sprung 3 leaks! no joke…. the faucet in the sink upstairs behind the bar had been left running, and it was overflowing. there was water fucking everywhere! we had buckets and trash cans and trashbags & Bil played until his keyboard stopped responding… i do believe Ripple recorded most of the night & i’ll let you know when & how you all can listen to Bil’s set! cheers! sam

ok, folks….THIS WEEKEND IS GOING TO BE OFF DA HOOK!!!! my favorite producer bil bless, aka Son of the Electric Ghost, from Bassdrop Texas is in town!!!! yay! if you’ve heard any of my mixes, you have surely heard his tracks. the man is an incredible producer & we are so lucky that Subscience is bringing him out for his very first San Francisco appearance. i heard him play in Texas & i can guarantee you that his Live PA performance will not disappoint. this is a rare opportunity, at the mere price of $5, so you have NO excuse!!! please come out tomorrow night to support this awesome breaks producer. if that isn’t enough…..on saturday Kemek the Dope Computer will be in town! this weekend is just a fucking wet dream for all of us breaks & bass lovers, dang! Sat. Jan. 17th: For the Love and Bass Addictech presents a Breakbeat Exhibition! awww yeah….that was so much fun! just got back from the Sublounge and has a BLAST! Played at Maria & Becky’s Hall-o ween party, complete with jello shots, lots of decorations & costumes. Valerie Sparks and Gabe Macias had a great tag-team session upstairs, followed up by Sunil. i played a set downstairs, which was followed up by a slamming set of 8Ball & then Scott Carrelli finished off the night with authority. Thank you, Scott–you rule! It was great to see everyone there: thank you Melyss, and Ken, and Matt G., and Mark, and everyone else. Paul, of course, thank you for coming out & showing your support as you always do–and thank you for making my costume in less than two hours before show-time… i had the brilliant idea of attaching a bunch of brake-pads to myself & wearing a tiara. well, Paul made that happen…and, thus, i was: The Queen of Brakes.
