Tomorrow, Thursday May 27th is Beatdown! Witches’ Brew kicks off their 5th season! Those of you in the know can attest: it’s a blast! Don’t miss our kickoff this Thursday, as the Witches will be wreaking some havoc!!!! We’ll be on our most favorite patio from 8-midnight, under the stars & with a microbrew!! Melyss just posted some pictures on theWitches’ Brew site. Last month’s Beatdown at Jupiter, which i missed because i was in Texas. Anyways, i was just glancing over all the shots & got stuck on this one of Jamie & it made me smile… Yay! Jamie is back! That’s really awesome for all of us involved. i know i’ve already told you this, Jamie, but, hey, why not again? It’s good to have you back :-) Thanks Melyss!

just came home from People’s Park in Berkeley, where i spun an hour and a half set for DJ Muse’s annual outdoor event: Women Represent. it was nice to be there today: i’ve always enjoyed People’s Park. It’s got a long history of controversy, pertaining to university officials who’ve long since wanted to develop the land. But People’s Park is a public open space; it belongs to the community & i really always get that sense when i’m there. anyways, i came upon this article in the Chronicle & it made me smile quite big. it’s nice to read about good things happening to good people. also, lots of pictures from LUMA Fest are already available for viewing!
