Dear Mark– i just wanted to drop you a note & say thank you for having me last friday. i had a BLAST! the energy in the place was insane & i must have been flying off that vibe for a good two days. driving across the bridge, i basked in the brightening blues over the hills as the sun was rising, and i smiled the entire way home. it’s gigs like last friday’s that remind me why i do this. why i love doing this. San Francisco is an amazing city: plentiful of DJs, artists, venues, party-goers. but it takes the right place filled with the right people at the right time. and even in San Francisco, you don’t find that space every day, or even every weekend. this is just to say, your contribution to this city’s ecclectic culture & potential has been duly noted here. thank you again for inviting me back to play at one of your events–i had no idea how much i needed that.
