Lee is settling down for a chunky extended 4 hour set at Mighty while the cowboys rock the Unimog out front. THRUST Recordings is Lee’s new label, and San Francisco’s newest party. Being one of his favorite cities in the world to DJ, he can’t wait. She’s supported Radiohead on the US part of their Kid A tour, experimented live on stage with avant-garde supremos : Bang On A Can (Philip Glass and Steve Reich) and provided more than a little entertainment at parties for director Roman Polanski and fashion house; Gucci. Her popularity as a DJ was confirmed by the high sales of her mix for !K7’s DJ Kicks series which showcased the variety of her musical tastes; she’s not afraid to fuse hip hop pioneers like Man Parish with electronic pusher’s Gescom.

i’m really excited about saturday, as i’m playing with DJ Hyper Hyper is an up and coming UK based breaks producer and DJ. It’s been days since Hyper played here on a weekend, and lucky for us Spundae has finally got him into town to interupt his busy touring and production schedule. He plays Saturday at the beautifully re-modelled Paradise Lounge and it should be slammin! He’s heard SF is the breaks capital of the US, and he plans to BRING it. He’ll also be accompanied by lots of your local heroes bringing all shade of breaks on the main room, and progressive house upstairs. Paradise Lounge features 2 rooms of music plus a mezzanine, all access VIP area, smoking area, and fat sound system. Come check it.
