Nitevibe Review for SEISMIC NYE

There’ll be so much bass inside Mighty on NYE, you’ll think there’s an earthquake. The Seismic crew’s planning this event and you know the shaking’s gonna be off the hook! Krafty Kuts rocks out with his hip-hop funk laced with that up-tempo flair while Seismic holds it down with Murphstar, Samira, Trav and Brett Pinkin each taking the decks. sh00ey, Brad Robinson, Aaron Pope and Raydeus complete the lineup, helping make the last party of 2007 a good one! Nitevibe Review for Thirsty

Come support female talent at the new weekly, Thirsty, held at the Matador Bar. This event features locals Denise, Amber and Samira, along with former New Yorker Missao, who plan to use this evening as a platform for performing their original music and pretty much doing whatever else they feel like. From rocking the techno beats to the bass-heavy house to the funky breaks, this is definitely one evening full of eclectic musical selection and style. Thanks, Nitevibe

Nitevibe Review: 06.09 Flambe Lounge

Pre-Compression Flambe Lounge! Imagine being very ticklish. And then finding yourself surrounded by a huge ring of people running towards you with their hands out in front of them and thie fingers in their tickling stance. That doesn’t quite describe the state of Pre-Compression, but why would it? Just like Burning Man itself - you must go to really know. And what an experience this Pre-Comp will be, with a smattering of some of the best elements of Burning Man, and the musical talent to have you swinging from the rafters. On the decks will be Adnan, BreakBeatBuddha, Piotron, Samira, and more, and Funky Beulah, Gooferman, and Kepi & Kat are just a few of the live performances present for the night. You’ll hear, dance, and get tickled to everything from house to breaks, progressive, circus, and storytime, as well as experience the TRASHion show and chill next to Mutant Vehicles and amazing art. Date: Saturday 6/9, Time: 8pm-5:30am, Place: Space 550, 550 Barneveld, Cover: $10 before 10pm, after 10pm: $15 costumed finery, $20 streetwear, More info (DKD)
