13th hour rain :: featured on SF Underground

I want to thank Troy Engel of SF Underground for featuring my mix on the front page today. Thank you also for the kind write-up. If you want to download the mp3 version of 13th Hour Rain, go visit SF Underground, where you can download it: HERE. And if you like the mix, feel free to rate it! This mix is dedicated to my friend Randall (the Candle). i had just finished a very intense 4 hour long conversation with him, which ended in me giving him a huge hug, forgetting about the beer in my hand & completely emptying my bottle of bass ale over his head. when i got on the decks, i thought, hmmm, maybe i should hit record. and that’s what came out. Randall had told me a story about his trip to Prague, and how it rained for 13 hours. and when i finished my mix, i noticed it was 13 tracks. also, Randall has this thing with clocks–whenever he looks at a clock, the numbers seem to be repeating themselves (like 10:10, or 12:12). the actual recording time on my mini disk was 57:57. i had to dedicate it to him, of course.
